Qwen Image Edit / Image editing

Preserve product details in Qwen Image Edit

A good image edit changes the requested feature while keeping important details stable. Before generating, make a short preservation list based on the intended use. A concept mood board can tolerate different changes from a product listing or an approved brand asset.

Identify the details that matter

For a bag, count pockets and inspect handles, seams and fasteners. For packaging, text and logos may require exact reproduction that a generative edit cannot guarantee. Preserve an original copy and compare at a useful zoom level rather than only viewing a small preview.

Do not write an enormous list of every pixel that must stay. Name the highest-priority details and keep the requested change narrow. If the change itself requires new geometry, acknowledge that the result needs a stronger review.

Run a controlled edit

  1. Choose the cleanest source image available.
  2. State the single desired change and the essential features to preserve.
  3. Compare the result with the source side by side.
  4. Use a conventional editor for exact text or a tiny repair when that is more reliable.

Example prompt

PROMPT RECIPE / ADAPT TO YOUR SOURCE

Keep the exact product silhouette, two handles, front pocket, stitching and colours. Change only the surrounding surface from rough concrete to a smooth neutral tabletop. Preserve the camera angle and lighting. Add a believable contact shadow without redesigning the product.

Stop compounding errors

If an edit loses a critical detail, return to the original source for the next attempt. Repeatedly editing a flawed output can make the error harder to remove. Keep approved and rejected versions clearly separated. The current JollyAI Qwen route uses a configured rapid SFW checkpoint; do not assume that a tutorial for a different upstream Qwen checkpoint describes identical behaviour or settings.

The workflow behind the guide

One to three images + edit brief → Qwen rapid SFW checkpoint and image conditioning → sampling → decoded edited still.

Implementation note
The reviewed JollyAI edit route loads Qwen-Rapid-AIO-SFW-v23 and accepts one to three images. It returns an edited still. It is a configured derivative workflow, not a claim that JollyAI serves the unmodified upstream Qwen-Image-Edit-2511 checkpoint. Current account allowances appear in the playground.

Configuration reviewed September 20, 2026. Your current playground controls and plans page determine availability. Prompt recipes above are suggestions, not guarantees or claimed test results.
