Qwen Image Edit background replacement: keep the subject intact

Background replacement is easier to review when the requested edit has one clear boundary: change the setting while preserving the subject. JollyAI's Qwen edit route produces a still image, not a video. Approve that still before using it as an input for animation.

Define what must stay

Name the subject details that matter: outline, pose, colour and product features. Then describe the new background and the lighting needed to connect it convincingly. A subject lit from the left will look pasted into a scene lit strongly from the right unless the brief addresses the mismatch.

Use an image you own or have permission to edit. For a real product, review the result against the source rather than accepting an attractive but altered object.

Make the edit

  1. Upload a clean source image to Qwen Image Edit.
  2. Describe the replacement environment and the details to preserve.
  3. Generate and inspect edges, contact shadows and reflections.
  4. Save the approved still before making another variation.

Keep the exact green backpack, its shape, straps and front pocket. Replace the background with a clean warm-grey studio wall and a matte tabletop. Add a soft contact shadow beneath the bag and match the existing gentle side light. No extra objects or lettering.

Fix a weak composite

If the subject changes, shorten the edit brief and emphasize only the essential invariants. If it appears to float, describe the support surface and contact shadow. If the background is too busy, remove decorative objects rather than trying to list everything that should be absent. Keep the original source for comparison and use ordinary image editing for precise small corrections that require exact pixel control.
