Wan 2.2 / First / last frame

Plan first and last frames for a Wan 2.2 transition

Two endpoint images describe where a transition begins and ends, but they do not fully specify the path between them. Prepare endpoints that are compatible before using JollyAI's dedicated Wan first/last-frame workflow. This is a different task from uploading one image to ordinary image-to-video.

Make the endpoints agree

Keep the aspect ratio, camera viewpoint and major object positions consistent unless the intended transition requires a change. A small object movement is easier to understand than a jump between unrelated scenes. If the ending introduces hidden geometry, the model must invent how it appears.

For exact product states, verify both endpoint images independently. A transition should not imply that a real item can physically transform in a way it cannot. Concept animation and product documentation have different accuracy requirements.

Prepare the transition

  1. Create or select an approved starting frame and ending frame.
  2. Match their crop and remove accidental layout differences.
  3. Choose the dedicated first/last-frame option if it is available to your account.
  4. Describe the change connecting the frames and review the whole middle section.

Example transition brief

PROMPT RECIPE / ADAPT TO YOUR SOURCE

Move gradually from the starting composition to the ending composition with a gentle forward camera motion. Keep the tabletop and background stable. The small paper lantern opens smoothly into its final shape. One continuous transition without a scene cut.

Judge the middle, not only the endpoints

Matching the first and last images does not make an impossible midpoint acceptable. Inspect for duplicated objects, abrupt dissolves and distorted structures. If the result fails, make the endpoints more similar or split the transition into two simpler shots. Use an ordinary editorial dissolve when a precise physical transformation is unnecessary.

REVIEWED JOLLYAI IMPLEMENTATION

The workflow behind the guide

Two uploaded endpoint images + transition brief → first/last-frame conditioning → dedicated Wan graph → decoded and encoded video.

Inputs, presets & access
Two images in start/end order. Check current account access and preset in the dedicated workflow; it is separate from ordinary I2V.
Implementation note
JollyAI runs configured Wan workflows with locally selected checkpoints and adapters. T2V, I2V and first/last-frame are separate routes. Presets and post-processing differ by route. Plan sound separately for the demonstrated silent workflow, and inspect the downloaded file before quoting dimensions or duration.

Configuration reviewed September 20, 2026. Your current playground controls and plans page determine availability. Prompt recipes above are suggestions, not guarantees or claimed test results.
