MiniMax H3 / Text to video

MiniMax H3 export checklist for clean editing and delivery

The generation is only the first production step. Before adding a MiniMax H3 clip to a project, inspect its actual metadata and watch the full file. A requested duration or resolution setting is not a substitute for checking the encoded output.

Preserve the original download

Keep an untouched copy with the prompt and request details. Make delivery edits from a duplicate so you can return to the original if a resize, audio change or re-encode goes wrong. Use clear filenames that identify the shot rather than overwriting every download as “final.”

Check width, height, frame rate, duration and whether the file contains an audio stream. These are separate properties. If a video plays silently in a muted web preview, test the downloaded file before concluding that the model produced no sound.

Before the final edit

  1. Watch the entire clip for visual discontinuities and unwanted details.
  2. Listen separately for speech, abrupt endings and distracting effects.
  3. Match the edit timeline to your delivery plan and avoid unnecessary repeated re-encoding.
  4. Add captions, logos and factual copy as editable layers.

Review the exported version too

Play the finished file outside the editing application. Check that the aspect ratio is correct, captions are readable and audio has not been dropped during export. For a website, use a compatible playback format with a poster and test loading over a slower connection. For social delivery, preview the final crop in the target placement.

Archive what made the shot useful

Store the accepted source, prompt, workflow and output alongside the project. Note any trimmed region that contains artifacts so another editor does not reuse it unknowingly. If the shot represents a real product, keep the approved reference photograph with it. A small amount of production documentation saves repeated generation and protects continuity when a project is revised.

REVIEWED JOLLYAI IMPLEMENTATION

The workflow behind the guide

Written scene → text conditioning → turbo audio/video sampling → separate video and audio decoding → combined video file.

Inputs, presets & access
Limited free access; four-second free preset, with six/eight/ten-second PRO options. Current ordinary pixel budget: 0.4 MP. Use the account controls for current availability.
Implementation note
Local H3 turbo workflow. Six sampling steps; simple scheduler; turbo adapter; video/audio shifts 12/3. Current environment: pruned W4A8 FL2VA weights with a 4B encoder and matching projection. R2V uses a separate reference checkpoint. These settings describe the reviewed JollyAI deployment, not every H3 implementation.

Configuration reviewed September 20, 2026. Your current playground controls and plans page determine availability. Prompt recipes above are suggestions, not guarantees or claimed test results.
