What the current presets mean
The H3 duration map contains a four-second free preset and six-, eight- and ten-second PRO presets. Account allowances, queue availability and the controls shown in the playground remain the source of truth when you generate. These settings may change after this guide's review date.
An administrator can use different settings for a demonstration. Our requested five-second guide sample is therefore not evidence of a public five-second plan option. Likewise, a selected showcase rendered at a larger pixel budget does not describe every free output.
Choose access from a real shot list
- Test whether a short T2V or I2V clip can communicate the idea.
- Decide whether you actually need references to carry a subject into a new scene.
- Check the current duration and allowance shown in your account.
- Review the live plans page before purchasing; this article does not freeze prices or quotas.
Estimate useful cost
Count the attempts needed to obtain a usable shot, not only the number of downloads. A longer clip that requires repeated retries can be less efficient than two carefully planned short shots. Keep an attempt log while evaluating a workflow: requested duration, result, reason for rejection and whether the output entered the final edit.
Avoid unlimited assumptions
Free access is a way to try supported workflows within the current allowance. It is not a promise of unlimited compute, immediate queue service or unrestricted content. Start with a small test and use the current playground and subscription information to decide whether the available settings fit the project.
Can I generate long MiniMax H3 videos for free?
The current free H3 preset generates a four-second clip. A single ten-second H3 generation requires PRO. To make a longer finished sequence, you can join approved short clips in an editor, subject to your available generation allowance. That editing workflow is different from generating one continuous long video for free; transitions and subject consistency still need review.
REVIEWED JOLLYAI IMPLEMENTATION
The workflow behind the guide
Written scene → text conditioning → turbo audio/video sampling → separate video and audio decoding → combined video file.
- Inputs, presets & access
- Limited free access; four-second free preset, with six/eight/ten-second PRO options. Current ordinary pixel budget: 0.4 MP. Use the account controls for current availability.
- Implementation note
- Local H3 turbo workflow. Six sampling steps; simple scheduler; turbo adapter; video/audio shifts 12/3. Current environment: pruned W4A8 FL2VA weights with a 4B encoder and matching projection. R2V uses a separate reference checkpoint. These settings describe the reviewed JollyAI deployment, not every H3 implementation.
Configuration reviewed September 20, 2026. Your current playground controls and plans page determine availability. Prompt recipes above are suggestions, not guarantees or claimed test results.
