MiniMax H3 / Image to video

Animate an e-commerce product photo with MiniMax H3

Image-to-video can turn an approved catalogue photograph into a short motion asset. The key is to preserve what customers are actually buying. Start with a modest movement that does not require the model to invent hidden components, a new material or a product feature.

Decide what must stay exact

List the non-negotiable details: colour, number of pockets, cap shape, seams and label placement. Compare the output against the original photograph, not against your memory. A visually attractive result is unsuitable for a product listing if it changes the item.

Avoid dramatic rotations when you have only a front view. A small push-in, changing light or gentle background motion may be more appropriate. If you need to show the rear or interior, use a real photograph of that view as a separate source.

Production workflow

  1. Prepare a clean image of the actual item with enough margin for the movement.
  2. Select H3 Image to Video and describe a single camera or lighting change.
  3. Review the first, middle and last frames, then watch the entire clip at normal speed.
  4. Export the approved portion and add factual text in your editing software.

Example prompt

PROMPT RECIPE / ADAPT TO YOUR SOURCE

Preserve the exact backpack from the uploaded photograph, including its pockets, straps and colours. Keep it stationary on the surface. A soft light slowly moves from left to right while the camera stays almost still. Neutral commercial presentation, no new accessories or lettering.

When a still image is better

If every attempt changes a critical detail, use a conventional animated crop or parallax treatment in an editor. Motion is optional; product accuracy is not. Keep the original photograph available on the listing so customers can inspect it. Label creative concept scenes appropriately rather than implying that generated environmental effects document a real product test.

REVIEWED JOLLYAI IMPLEMENTATION

The workflow behind the guide

One uploaded image + motion brief → image and text conditioning → H3 FL2VA turbo sampling → video/audio decoding → combined video file.

Inputs, presets & access
One image; aspect follows the source. Limited free access and longer PRO presets. Current ordinary pixel budget: 0.4 MP.
Implementation note
Local H3 turbo workflow. Six sampling steps; simple scheduler; turbo adapter; video/audio shifts 12/3. Current environment: pruned W4A8 FL2VA weights with a 4B encoder and matching projection. R2V uses a separate reference checkpoint. These settings describe the reviewed JollyAI deployment, not every H3 implementation.

Configuration reviewed September 20, 2026. Your current playground controls and plans page determine availability. Prompt recipes above are suggestions, not guarantees or claimed test results.
